The microparticles will be surface-functionalized on the one hand with the CGSPGWVRC peptide that will be used for active targeting of alveolar capillary endothelial cells, and on the other hand with the indolicidin (IN) peptide used for targeting the bacterial cells responsible for pneumonia. ZnO nanoparticles will be used to replace antibiotics which, due to excessive use or their incorrect use can lead to a decrease in their therapeutic efficacy.
