1. Project objectives

The overall objective is to develop an actionable workflow for locoregional administration of “personalised” drug combination therapy able to overcome intratumor molecular heterogeneity and the obstacle imposed by BBB to intracranial drug accumulation.

 

2. Project activities

A1: Preliminary studies on the identification of glioblastoma-specific ligands

A2: Synthesis and physicochemical characterization of particles functionalized with specific ligands.

A3: Preparation and rheological characterization of the final formulation.

A4: In vivo evaluation on mice and clinical study on patients of the final formulation.
