Studies on the effects resulting from exposure of zebrafish (Danio rerio) to
different materials used in dentistry (ZebraDent)

In this biomedical research we propose the individual testing of sodium fluoride, heavy metals and antibiotics used in dentistry, as well as in a mixture with natural antioxidants using zebra fish (Danio rerio). Thus, following these studies we aim to contribute to the understanding of the physiological, biochemical and behavioral changes following the administration of sodium fluoride, heavy metals and antibiotics used in zebrafish dentistry. Also, if the administration of natural antioxidants can improve the changes induced by them, and the extrapolation of the results to humans.
